Facilitated educational programs (e.g., tutoring, social living, and mentoring) to encourage the academic advancement of parents in the Head Start program. Monitored the physical and emotional development of children in the Early Head Start program.
Hands on
Created and facilitated after school enrichment programs for inner city adolescents (including adolescents with physical disabilities). Facilitated educational, behavioral, and social programs for students with hearing impairments by communicating through American Sign Language. Obtained computer donations for low-income families to promote educational advancement.
